A soft-sealed flanged gate valve with a replaceable stem seal, made entirely of ductile cast iron in a short design and covered with the highest quality anti-corrosion coatings based on epoxy resin. Used mainly in water supply systems, waste water systems and systems for other chemically inert liquids (applies to DN50).

CONSTRUCTIONAL FEATURES

  • Full, even and depression-free passage.
  • Possibility of replacing the valve stem seal under full pressure.
  • Brass screw for valve stem seal (replaceable).
  • A non-rising stainless steel pin with a cold-rolled thread, enabling it to work with O-rings placed in the screw.
  • The bottom washer is made of PTFE, which is a sliding washer that protects the low-friction spindle bearing.
  • The hull and cover are made of ductile cast iron grade EN-GJS 400-15.
  • Wedge made of ductile cast iron, vulcanized inside and outside with EPDM or NBR rubber, hardness 70±5°Sh. Guided in guides being an integral part of the gate body. The wedge guides are additionally protected with plastic.
  • Nut for suspending the wedge on the stem – replaceable, made of hardened brass.
  • Screws connecting the cover with the body – blind threads, fully protected against corrosion with paraffin-wax compound.
  • Internal and external protection against corrosion with RAL 5005 epoxy powder paint with a minimum thickness of 250 um and a breakdown resistance of 3 kV.
