Underground hydrant DN80 features a single piston closure and an innovative design. For corrosion protection, it’s coated with an epoxy resin or hot-dip galvanized anti-corrosion coating. Designed for drawing water for water supply, municipal and fire fighting purposes.

Full internal and external corrosion protection with epoxy powder coating in red RAL 3000 or blue RAL 5015, with a coating thickness of at least 250 µm, resistant to 3 kV surge.
Other hydrant components are corrosion-resistant.
The hydrants are designed for installation on pipelines carrying drinking water according to PN-EN 1074-6.
Disinfectant resistance according to PN-EN 1074-1.
The hydrant is adapted to a street box according to PN-M-74082 (DIN 4055).

CONSTRUCTIONAL FEATURES

The upper body, valve chamber and stand connection as well as other cast details are made of ductile iron grade EN-GJS 500-7. Column as per table.
Spindle (pin) made of stainless steel with cold-rolled trapezoidal thread.
Brass stem nut cast in a cast iron housing.
Hydrant piston vulcanized with EPDM rubber with a hardness of 70°
Closing of the hydrant is executed by a piston cooperating with a brass guide sleeve.
