The two flanged knee with N foot is made as a monolithic cast iron casting entirely of ductile cast iron or grey cast iron, covered with an excellent anti-corrosion coating based on epoxy resins or bituminous paints. The fitting is particularly useful in the construction of water pipelines to change the direction of a flanged pipe by 90° and to bring the pipeline to the surface or to connect it to a hydrant.
